In this Next Level Basketball Progression, Jay Ramos introduces the foundation of half court work for individual player: The Triple Threat.
Although the Triple Threat is a position where the offensive player can shoot, dribble, and pass, and players can often have varying counter moves, every player should look to gain an advantage by making a move on a “One Count,” which is simply attacking on the catch, in no more than one second!
We want to emphasize that the simplicity of these moves make them efficient options and are difficult for a defense to recover than if the basketball sticks. Try to play some “No Hold Basketball” and see how it goes for your team.
When doing basketball training in South Florida, we expect our players to have a solid foundation and this series can serve as a starting dish for that. Take a look.
